Kate is an accomplished leader with extensive professional experience at world leading organisations, locally and internationally, including Nike, Mattel Toys and PwC. A career highlight was six years at Nike’s world headquarters in the USA as a Director of Nike’s Asia Pacific footwear business. Here Kate developed her strategic business skills as well as strong leadership and communication skills, successfully leading a high functioning, cross-cultural team to achieve significant growth across Asia Pacific and the global matrix.

Kate’s passion for coaching grew throughout her career as she loved leading, mentoring and developing her team members and seeing them flourish. She is grateful for the support of several outstanding leaders and mentors throughout her career and believes this was a crucial element to her success, so now wants to pay this forward. Kate is passionate about supporting and empowering people to realise their potential, pursue their dreams and be their best-self. To add rigour and substance to her passion for coaching, Kate has undertaken extensive study in coaching and leadership, gaining blue-chip qualifications and credentials.

Kate’s career began as a Graduate at PwC, where she worked her way up to become one of the youngest female Assistant Managers in the Australian business. Kate credits this formative time at PwC with developing her strong general business acumen, highly professional demeanour, and outstanding work ethic. Kate also worked for Mattel Toys, where she honed her Marketing and Brand Management skills.

After the arrival of Kate’s two children, Kate stepped back from the high demands of an international career to be a self-employed Marketing & Business Development Consultant. She assisted various SMEs and NFPs (including Maurice Blackburn Lawyers, EuroCave Australia and ISS Australia) achieve their goals, drive growth and strengthen their brands. This experience served to further develop Kate’s diverse commercial skill-set and lateral perspective.

Kate subscribes to the International Coaching Federation (ICF) Code of Ethics assuring the highest coaching standards, including confidentiality and provision of a safe space, free of judgement.

Over the years Kate has assisted several NFPs with a focus on women and children. For each new client Kate will donate a portion of the fee to support one vulnerable woman on her path to employment.
